The challenge of restoring the basement chapel was to recreate the feel of a sanctuary of a specific church in Beverly Hills.  A facade was created to recess the crucifix allowing for it to be lit from the sides and the same stained glass pattern from the original church was recreated and installed in backlit side panels.

The previously unfinished fourteen stations the cross were restored and painted with a palette of over sixty custom-mixed colors. A large unfinished statue of St. John was also restored and painted.
